Please allow 96 hours (4 working days) for prescriptions to be processed. Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Prescriptions will be ready to collect after 16:00.
Many chemists in Watford and the surrounding areas offer a prescription collection service. When you request your repeat prescription (by post or dropping it into the surgery) it will be collected by your nominated chemist. To set this up, you need to complete a consent form at your chemists. The consent form will be kept on record.

OTC's Over The Counter Medicines
GP's in Hertfordshire will no longer normally prescribe medicines which can be bought over the counter for short term conditions and minor ailments.

Patient Information Leaflet - Repeat Prescriptions Safe and Effective use of your medication
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
