The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) law was implemented on the 25th of May 2018.
All patients are entitled to have their medical information kept private. We take patient confidentiality very seriously at Suthergrey House Medical Centre and all of our staff are trained to ensure this is not breached. We will only share your details with other health care professionals for example if we were to refer you on to hospital for a consultation or procedure.
Confidentiality can sometimes cause issues for family members as without the patients consent we will not discuss you with them unless you have provided us with consent to do so, please contact the Surgery if you need to discuss patient consent.
